High-Strength Brass Small Bushing – Process & Quality Assurance Statement
Our high-strength brass small bushings are engineered for compact applications that demand robust performance under significant loads and harsh operating conditions.
Key process features
Production combines proven casting with precise machining to ensure tight tolerances and reliable function:
●Alloy Melting: Premium raw materials are melted with controlled additions of manganese, iron, and other elements for optimal strength.
●Centrifugal or Sand Casting: Dense blanks are cast to near-net shape, minimizing porosity and achieving fine grain structure.
●Heat Treatment: Controlled annealing enhances toughness and relieves casting stresses.
●Rough Machining: CNC turning establishes basic inner and outer dimensions.
●Precision Finishing: Honing and grinding deliver smooth bore surfaces and exact fits; optional spiral oil grooves added for lubrication.
●Surface Enhancement: Light deburring and cleaning ensure clean, ready-to-install parts.
●Packaging: Individual protective wrapping prevents damage during transit.
Quality control system
● Full traceability from raw material batch to finished bushing
● Material certificates and dimensional reports provided with each order
● Sample retention ≥3 years for third-party verification (SGS, BV, TÜV, etc.)
● 100% inspection of critical parameters:
• Chemical composition (optical emission spectrometry)
• Mechanical properties (hardness and compressive strength testing on samples)
• Dimensional accuracy (CMM and bore gauges; typical tolerance ±0.01mm on ID)
• Surface finish and roundness (profilometer checks)
• Visual and functional defects (magnified inspection)
● Internal standards exceed ASTM B584 requirements. Typical C86300 properties: Tensile strength ≥820 MPa, Yield strength ≥460 MPa, Outstanding performance under high pressure and sliding wear.
● ISO 9001:2015 certified processes guarantee consistent, high-quality small bushings that deliver long-term reliability in your compact, high-stress assemblies.
