Key process features
Manufacturing uses proven casting and finishing techniques to achieve dense, uniform plates suitable for machining into critical components:
●Alloy Melting: High-grade copper and tin are melted with precise additions to achieve the target composition and fluidity.
●Casting Process: Continuous or static casting produces slabs with controlled cooling to minimize porosity and segregation.
●Hot Rolling: Initial reduction refines the structure and achieves intermediate thickness.
●Annealing: Heat treatment relieves stresses and optimizes machinability.
●Cold Finishing: Final rolling or leveling ensures flatness and precise thickness.
●Surface Preparation: Plates are milled or ground as required for smooth faces.
●Cutting & Protection: Custom sizing with clean cuts; surfaces lightly oiled to prevent oxidation during storage and shipping.
Quality control system
● Complete traceability from raw material charge to finished plate
● Mill test reports provided with every batch
● Sample retention ≥3 years for third-party review (SGS, BV, TÜV, etc.)
● 100% inspection of key parameters:
• Chemical composition (optical emission spectrometry)
• Mechanical properties (tensile, hardness, and compressive testing on samples)
• Dimensional accuracy (micrometers and flatness gauges; typical tolerance ±1% on thickness)
• Surface quality and defects (visual + ultrasonic on thicker plates)
• Internal soundness (ultrasonic examination standard)
