Our phosphor bronze flat washers are precision-manufactured from premium phosphor bronze alloys to deliver reliable performance in demanding environments.
Key process features
The complete production process ensures consistent quality and tight tolerances:
●Material Preparation: Certified phosphor bronze coil/sheet (purity and alloy composition verified) is sourced with full mill certificates.
●Precision Stamping: High-speed progressive dies or CNC turret punching produce accurate blanks with clean shear edges.
●Forming & Deburring: Automated tumbling or vibratory finishing removes burrs and sharp edges, achieving smooth, uniform surfaces.
●Optional Surface Treatment: Tin plating (where specified) applied via electroplating for improved solderability and additional corrosion protection.
●Cleaning & Inspection: Ultrasonic cleaning removes residues, followed by 100% visual inspection and dimensional verification.
●Packaging: Parts are carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit, with desiccant where required for long-term storage.
Quality control system
● Full lot traceability from raw material coil batch to finished washers
● Retention of material samples and inspection records ≥3 years for third-party verification (SGS, BV, TÜV, etc.)
● 100% inspection of critical parameters:
• Chemical composition (optical emission spectrometer)
• Dimensional accuracy (optical comparator, micrometers, and CMM; typical tolerance ±0.05mm)
• Surface quality (visual and magnified inspection)
• Hardness and mechanical properties (Rockwell testing on sample basis)
● Internal quality standards exceed ASTM B103 requirements. Typical properties for C51000: Tensile strength ≥500 MPa, Yield strength ≥400 MPa (depending on temper), Excellent spring-back and fatigue resistance.
