Key process features
Manufacturing involves careful alloying and heat treatment to fully develop the precipitation strengthening effects:
●Melting & Alloying: Pure copper is alloyed with precise chromium and zirconium under controlled conditions to ensure homogeneous distribution.
●Hot Extrusion or Rolling: The billet is hot worked into square sections, refining the cast structure and achieving initial density.
●Solution Annealing: Bars are heated to dissolve alloy elements, then quenched to create a supersaturated matrix.
●Precipitation Aging: Controlled low-temperature aging precipitates fine particles for optimal hardness and conductivity.
●Straightening & Finishing: Bars are straightened and surfaces turned or ground to exact dimensions.
●Final Cleaning: Thorough cleaning removes any residue, ensuring clean, ready-to-use material.
●Protective Packaging: Bars are bundled and wrapped to prevent surface damage during global transport.

• Dimensional accuracy (micrometers and CMM; typical tolerance ±0.2mm on side)
• Surface finish and straightness (profilometer + laser checks)
• Conductivity testing (typically ≥80% IACS post-aging)
