Key process features
The forging process refines the material while preserving copper's natural advantages:
●Billet Selection: High-purity copper ingots or pre-rolled slabs are carefully selected and inspected for composition.
●Preheating: Billets are uniformly heated to optimal forging temperature to ensure proper plasticity.
●Hot Forging: Multiple passes under high-tonnage presses reduce thickness or form custom shapes, closing voids and aligning grain flow for added toughness.
●Controlled Cooling: Slow cooling prevents cracking and preserves ductility.
●Stress-Relief Annealing: Heat treatment removes residual stresses and optimizes conductivity.
●Precision Machining: Parts are milled or turned to final dimensions with clean surfaces.
●Final Protection: Light cleaning and protective coating applied to maintain surface quality during storage and transport.
